Atari's Parent Company Infogrames Gets New CFO
More movement in Infogrames management

6 May 2008
Infogrames, the parent company of Atari, has named former Logitech man Fabrice Hamaide as its new chief financial officer.
Hamaide’s list of responsibilities includes overseeing finance, investor relations/financial communications and legal and information technology. Hamaide will also become a member of the company’s management board, ‘COMEX’, and will report directly to David Gardner, Infogrames’ CEO.
Hamaide’s career trajectory has taken him from Ernst & Young through various financial management roles at companies including Kraft Suchard Jacobs, Talkaway Communications and, most recently, Bluetooth tech company Parrot, where he served as CFO.
Hamaide takes over from Yves Hannebelle, who became CFO of Infogrames in March 2006.

This comes following Infogrames decision to bite the bullet and buy Atari in full, making it a wholly-owned subsidiary.
David Gardner commented, “With (Hamaide’s) appointment, we are continuing to boost our senior management team and we are particularly happy that Fabrice will be taking over this role. He is a great asset for the company, and his strong background and professional expertise are an excellent base for this senior responsibility within the Group."
Other recent additions to Infogrames and Atari in the upper echelons of management include former Sony men Jim Wilson and Phil Harrison.
