Call of Duty 4 Maps Dated For PC
And cheap at half the price
Posted 2 Jun 2008

PC gamers have been given a date for the Call of Duty 4 Variety Map Pack. It will be available for them to download as of June 5th - this Thursday.
That's not the only shot of good news, however. Nvidia is sponsoring the pack on PC, meaning that it will be made available for free!
To go with the Map Pack, Infinity Ward will also be putting out the 1.6 patch for the PC version of CoD4. According to Robert Bowling, the director of communications/community manager at Infinity Ward, the patch will, "add support for the new maps, fix a server crash exploit recently reported by the community, and a few additional features / bug fixes. I will post a full patch notes list next week."
The pack includes four new maps - Broadcast, Chinatown, Killhouse and Creek.
The maps were made available to PS3 and Xbox 360 owners in April.
