God of War fans who enjoy rocking out from time to time are in for a treat this week. In amongst the new content now live on the PlayStation Network is “The End Begins (to Rock)”, a Guitar Hero III take on the theme song from God of War II.
The best news is that the track is absolutely free! The audio track will also be made available for download. As you might expect, the track is exclusive to the PS3.

It's a freebie that is cross-selling the God of War brand. You're right there are better game soundtracks (tho' GOWar is pretty good!) but that isn't the point of the release.
They've done the same with the Halo tune on the 360 GH3.

This was always the danger with these games. They ought to choose music that suits the game and this is far from it. There are more deserving game tracks out there than God of War.
Come you muppets, how about some Streets of Rage remixes or some better game music.
