Lara Croft in a wetsuit! Huzzah! Eidos has released a couple of new images from Tomb Raider: Underworld, featuring some underwater action. With Lara in a wetsuit (did we say that already?)! OK, if we're going to be reasonable about it, she's actually more covered up in a wetsuit than she typically is on dry land. But still...

The official Tomb Raider website tells us that Underworld will be out in November. Back in January Eidos said the game will be out at Christmas. November is, of course, your standard month of release for titles aimed at Greedmas.

As far as plot goes, Eidos tells us, "Lara leads a quest that circles the world to uncover the secrets of the Norse underworld and a forgotten power, that if, unleashed could lay waste to all civilization." Does anyone else think it might be best to just leave the secrets covered? Maybe then the game could be about Lara heading down the shops, perhaps meeting up with a couple of friends for coffee then heading home to watch Eastenders. The possibilities are limitless.

Eidos has actually gone so far as to officially announce the Tomb Raider portal. It's a little underwhelming, however, given that an official Tomb Raider site at the address has been around for yonks. In any case, you can see the site here. Now look at the pretty pictures!
