Vote Spider-Man: Web of Shadows!
Activision encourages the public to get involved
Posted 2 Jul 2008

The games industry loves empowering the gamer and putting them in control of their gaming experience these days - no one more so than Activision, it would seem. The publisher is asking the gaming community to vote for the packaging of the upcoming Spider-Man: Web of Shadows.
You can see the choices to the right and below. SPOnG's in favour of the one to the right because... well, it has Wolverine and Venom on it.
This isn't Activision's first crack at devolving responsibility for Web of Shadows to the masses. The company got Spider-fans to vote on the voice talent to be used in the game based on auditions held at New York Comic Con. Similarly, attendees of San Diego Comic Con were asked to kick off voting for who should be used as the models for Mary Jane and the Black Cat at the Activision booth.
In the future, Activision says it plans to enable voting on "gifts for pre-sell, gameplay content to be posted on the community website, packaging layout, and more."
You can get involved at Activision's appropriately-named website, seizecontrol.com. Keep your eye on SPOnG's dedicated Web of Shadows page for more on the game as it emerges.

I have seen soo much talent from people outside that make amazing covers that never make it to the publishers/developers what a shame.
