The Nintendo E3 press conference has just wrapped up. While the announcement of Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars was extremely pleasing, SPOnG noticed something that made our hearts sink.

While Star Wars The Clone Wars: Lightsaber Duels was being shown on-screen the trusty (and deadly) light sticks were distinctly lacking on the peripheral front. Everyone has been hoping and praying that LucasArts would put out an attachment for the Wii Remote that would make it take on the appearance of a full lightsaber. If LucasArts is working on one, Nintendo doesn't appear to have its mitts on it yet.

SPOnG's hopes are more than a little dashed.
