Helpfully, during his E3 keynote yesterday Jack Tretton, president of Sony Computer Entertainment America, confirmed that God of War 3 is, in fact, a game that is being made. He didn't seem bothered about the fact that there's been no doubt in the mind of anyone that cares that the game exists since last November.

Still, he did show off a teaser trailer for the game. It might not tell us a vast amount about what Kratos is up to, but it does look mighty pretty... mighty, mighty pretty indeed. We are, in fact, quite up for this.

Of course, we could be seeing Kratos on the PS3 even before the third console GOW appears - as soon as the August release of Soulcalibur IV, in fact.
