Dead Rising Wii Website Now Live
Lost Planet Wii on the way?
Posted 18 Jul 2008

There's now a Japanese website for the Wii version of Dead Rising live for your enjoyment.
It won't tell you a vast amount about the game, but it does contain a stack of flash images to give you a little taster of what's coming.
It's possible that, along with a Wii port of Capcom's Xbox 360 zombie title, we might just be getting a Wii port of Lost Planet. One poster over at the Capcom official forum asked†, "Hey Sven, just out of curiousity, how come you guys chose Dead Rising over Lost Planet for Wii?"
The Sven in question here is Christian Svensson, corporate officer/VP of strategic planning & business development over at Capcom. He came back with, "Let's discuss next week. I can't comment until then when a bit more will be clear. :)" So... an announcement's coming next week? Capcom has certainly shown its willingness to port hardcore games to the Wii with Resident Evil 4, Okami and Dead Rising.
It could be, of course, that the official announcement will be coming next week, complete with more information on why Dead Rising is being ported for the Wii - the news broke in the Western world via scans of Japanese gaming bible Famitsu. It looks like we'll have to wait and see...
You can catch the Dead Rising website here.

Forget about Lost Planet, bring on Resident Evil 5 with RE4Wii controls! The gameplay, AI, animations and physics seem to be basically the same as RE4, just a tad more enemies on screen and better graphics. RE5 with RE4+ graphics are certainly possible on Wii.
