Activision has just sent us its latest release schedule, giving us a firm release date for its first James Bond game, Quantum of Solace. Wipe a tear though, a this is getting close to being one of the last Activision lists before it becomes, sniff, Activision/Blizzard.

The game will be out on the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PS2, PC and DS on October 31st - Halloween.

Also mentioned are some vague release windows for a few of the company's other big hitters. Spider-Man: Web of Shadows and Fracture are both slated for October. Call of Duty: World at War and LucasArts' Star Wars Clone Wars games for the Wii and DS have both been confirmed for the infuriatingly vague windows of "Winter 2008". Call of Duty 4: Game of the Year is down for release in September for the PC.
