Alan Wake: All Real or Imagined
Remedy apologises

Just follow the light...
Remedy's CFO, Mika Reini, has taken a moment to confirm to the world that Alan Wake, it's psychological action thriller, still exists. While he was at it, he apologised for the "lack of updates" on the game (he didn't quite apologise for its lack of release) and admitted that the company has faced some pitfalls.
In a posting in Remedy's forums Reini writes, "Sure, we've been in development for a long time and if everything had gone perfectly smoothly there probably would be a game out for you guys to play already. But designing a completely new game can be hard, and sometimes you need to take a detour to find the best route forward."
How's that for vague? Translation: "We kind of messed up, but we're working on it."
Word of Alan Wake has been floating around since 2005, but its release has ever remained on the horizon. You can find out more about it here. Ever-distant or not, it looks pretty darn pretty...
The full note from Reini reads as follows:
"Dear people,
"We feel we owe you all a small heads up, and our apologies for lack of updates. This is just part of our psychological thriller, is it all real or imagined...
"Seriously, yes, we're still here and working hard on getting Alan Wake for you to enjoy. Sure, we've been in development for a long time and if everything had gone perfectly smoothly there probably would be a game out for you guys to play already. But designing a completely new game can be hard, and sometimes you need to take a detour to find the best route forward.
"We want to entertain you guys in the best possible way and our team is putting in every effort possible in order for that to happen. That is the way Remedy wants to do things. I'm sure you will enjoy Alan Wake when we're done.

With a new IP game like Alan Wake I think the developers from the first Max Payne which I might add was fantastic!! Should be respected to be given the understanding of yes they are working on it and yes they have the best interest of the gamers at heart to ensure they bring out a well created game

Yeah, it's difficult to wade through Saiyan's nonsensical, illiterate and self-contradictory bullshit at the best of times.

Not being funny but not all developers can just throw out games as quick as EA for example...
Some games that take a long time to develope games like Resident Evil for example tend to end up being absolute fantastic games.

It's funny that you don't apply this opinion of yours when referring to Home, LBP or any other "Delaystation" game.

Nothing quite like a bunch of faggots to talk crap, I made sense in what I said there are too many developers churning out crap games a lot of the times they hope that their hype will sell i.e. Halo 2 & 3 for example.

F**k you you smallminded, bacteria-brained idiot. Why not add "nigger, yid, paki, wog, spastic, lesbo" in their just to round off your brilliant argument?

Yes SS4, we are all wrong. Do u notice how nobody EVER agrees with you?that alone should show you, you are talking crap. You dont even get, "Hey leave SS4 alone, he has a point"...there is a reason for this. The lack of basic puncuation makes ur posts impossible to read in one attempt.
Now on to why ur latest post on Spong is yet another example of ur messed up head. Yes, it is true there is a lot of shovel ware on systems these days, with the DS leading the way and it is also true that some developers have a system of PR and hype generating strategies in place ,which bluntly put tend to maximise sales.
However, they r 2 totally seperate issues, u have just clumped them together and added a retarded example. Halo 2/3 was not "churned" out, yeh, ok, it could have been a bit stronger on the narative side but u cannot put it in the same league as proper shovel ware. WHich is hat ur post is doing, therefore it and u r retarded.

What we dont want is an Alone in the dark situation...
We need this game to be left quiet until the time is right for it to not only get its hype but to make sure the hype equals a well created game.
