Prince of Persia: Talking American
New video and screens below
Posted 20 Aug 2008

As part of it Leipzig Games Convention offering, Ubisoft has hurled a new Prince of Persia video and some screens in our direction.
In it you can see some of those new features Ubisoft's been pimping in action. The Prince has got his creepy glove on, for one. You can see him doing his wall runs and slides in glorious technicolour. More importantly, you can see Elika, his AI partner, helping him along the way. She's pretty. She makes SPOnG feel weird. But she does NOT get in the way or anything.
The dialogue, admittedly, is horribly twee. It's not helped by the fact that the Prince talks in an American accent found only on LA locals with plastic faces, either. Right now, however, SPOnG's going to forgive all that because it looks so damn pretty.
You can catch the first few screens below and the rest over on SPOnG's dedicated Prince of Persia game page.
