Microsoft has revealed a new game about Ninjas fighting monsters in modern-day Japan. No, it's not Ninja Gaiden III. This is Ninja Blade. Get that? 'Blade'.

The game was unveiled at a Japanese media briefing put together by Microsoft. Details are a bit thin on the ground, but a teaser trailer was shown (ninja, helicopter, dragons, running down the side of a building. and the game was described as a "cinematic action" game. The game will be set in Tokyo, featuring "famous Tokyo landmarks" such as Shinjuku Station.

It's being developed by From Software, which has spent a lot of time with the Armored Core series and produced stealthy ninja action title, Tenchu Z. Lost Planet designer Keiji Nakoka is reportedly working on the game, while the score for the video below was provided by Norihiko Hibino, who has worked on Konami's Metal Gear series.
