HMV says it is giving "fans" of Electronic Arts' Spore the chance to meet with Will Wright, the game's creator, at its Oxford Street shop tomorrow.

The event will kick off at 12:30pm, with wristbands that enable entry to the event being available from the store at 9:00am tomorrow morning. If you're interested you'll probably want to get down early, since only 200 of the wristbands are being doled out.

Mark SPOnG is not a fan of folk being described as "fans" of a game before it's even out. "How can you be a fan of something you've not been able to try out properly? Eh? Eh?!" rants Mark.

Anyway... the publisher has something for everyone. If you're not conveniently located for taking part in the event, you can still dig into some fresh screens from the game, which launches on Friday. You can find some below and some more on SPOnG's dedicated game page.
