Seems like the hipsters over at Vanity Fair magazine have woken up to video gaming. Writer, David Itzkoff (who has described himself as "Writer, editor, onanist") has hilariously created a spoof Guitar Hero game called Rock Journalist Hero. Well, at least he's got the art department to mock one up.

The hilarious 'game' hilariously enables you to, "Compress your think piece into a 25-word capsule review for an ever shrinking print publication being strangled to death by the Internet!" among other hilarious options.

We don't think that this David Itzkoff is the same Dave Itzkoff's who once toldgawker, "E3 is actually a lot like New Orleans, except the attendees are way more excited to see the new Grand Theft Auto than they are to see strippers, and they do way more cocaine," but we're open to correction.
