Sony has shifted the goalposts ever-so-slightly on the release date for LittleBigPlanet.

Fear not, though! The game's release has moved forwards. An announcement from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe now pins the release date on October 24th.

At Leipzig Games Convention, Sony said the game would be released on October 29th. That's a Wednesday, so the new date (which falls on regular new game day, Friday) makes a bit more sense.

If you can't wait that long, you could always make your way to Manchester where an ongoing public preview of the game is being hosted.
