Choose A TimeSplitters Platform for Free Radical
The developer can't be bothered...
Posted 18 Sept 2008

It would seem Free Radical is unable to decide which platform to put TimeSplitters 4 on. It wants you to choose.
The company has put up a poll on its website asking gamers to choose whether they would rather play the game on the PS3, Xbox 360, PC or Wii.
When SPOnG spoke to Free Radical's screen writer, Rob Yescombe, back in April, we asked him about platforms for the game. He told us, "We haven't even decided what we want to do yet. It could be any platform. It's still paper design at this point. We haven't got to a stage where we're pitching to publishers exactly what platforms. It's still unsigned, so we wanna do it our way and then say, 'this is what it's going to be, do you want to pay money for it?'"
Not a lot is known about TimeSplitters 4 at this stage, but SPOnG did manage to tease some vague details about the game out of Mr Yescombe when the news first emerged.

Wow, this might well be the first time I've ever agreed with any part of SS4.... I don't agree with the reasoning, but I would like to see TS4 on all three consoles plus PC.... I really want the Wii version if I'm honest, monkeys and nintendo go so well together :-)

Try not to look at it as a choice for which single machine the game will be produced. Think of it more as a marketing exercise that will, surprisingly, produce the result that they will make it for every platform.

Aye could be very well true, at present the PS3 is leading the pack with the 360 in third place. I never liked the franchise until number 3 came out and even though the game only lasted like 6hrs I loved it!

The Xbox360 does deserve an actual Rare-game...
