Burnout Paradise Downloadable Date Plus PS3 Trophy Support

Budget version drives straight based retail and joins Information Superhighway at Junction 11.

23 Sept 2008

Back in August we told you that Electronic Arts and Criterion were flipping the finger at retail when it came to the budget release of SPOnG favourite, Burnout Paradise.

Well, that news is now confirmed with a September 25th (that's this Thursday) for $29.99 (which would be £16 or €20 in real money - but that is not confirmed).

There is more - according to Criterion, "Starting the game will then immediately trigger the download of all our updates, including the recent Cagney Pack and Burnout Bikes.

"A pack delivering PS3 Trophy Support will be released imminently and included for free."

There is also more in development for the game with a new island location in development. We'd like to think it will be the Isle of Man or maybe of Wight - but it'll probably be somewhere like Manhattan - or has somebody already done that?

Monster island would be cool.

So would Mystery Island (Banana Splits and that)...

As long as it's not bloody Canvey Island.

What other islands would readers love to see tarmac'd (or bitumened) eh, readers?

Candy Island, Bishops Rock would be a challenge ( http://www.didyouknow.cd/islands.htm ), or maybe even Laputa? (im not explaining that one as gamers you are no doubt Anmie lovers/likers you should know if you dont its somethign for you to find out about and watch !!)
