Northampton Crooks Love the PlayStation 3
£600,000-worth of Brothers in Arms games nicked off police

BiA: Hell's Higway, not the raid.
A £600,000 haul of Brothers in Arms games, originally stolen in Northampton, home of PlayStation-loving villains, has been nicked from a police storage facility.
The chain of events kicked off in Northampton, where the games were lifted from a lorry while the driver rested. Police in Leeds got hold of them when they spotted fake number plates on the thieves' truck. The truck and its contents were impounded at a supposedly secure police depot. Within hours, however, crooks (it's unknown whether it was the original gang) had smashed in the shutters on the depot and had it away with the lorry and its contents.
The games were the PS3 version of Hell's Highway, the latest in Ubisoft's WWII series.
Northampton, site of the original theft, was where over 1,400 PS3s were nabbed earlier in the year, also off the back of a lorry. You know what they say about Northampton criminals - bunch of bloody Sony fanboys.
The lorry was found last Monday near Bradford. No sign of the games, but police are checking eBay.
Helpfully, The Telegraph used a photo of a Logitech PS2 controller to illustrate its story on the subject. It also pointed out that you can buy GTA IV for the PS3. Satan bless the mainstream press...
