LittleBigPlanet's Little Big Computer

See it in action here

8 Oct 2008

LittleBigPlanet beta user Upsilandre has... well, he (or she) has terrified us here at SPOnG. He (or she) has gone ahead and built a functioning calculator in LittleBigPlanet. A working bloody calculator!!!

Upsilandre is keen to point out that the device is an "Electronic' 8bit calculator (not 'mechanical' calculator)". We're told it does "...Decimal/binary conversions and it can do Add and Sub".

To create it, Upsilandre used 610 magnetic switches, 500 Wires, 430 pistons and 70 emitters, along with some other bits and bobs.

You can see the calculator, which Upsilandre has titled 'Little Big Computer', in action below. For more on LittleBigPlanet, hit SPOnG's dedicated game page.
