Warner Bros has upped its stake in UK-based Eidos-owning SCi Entertainment to the tune of five million ordinary shares. We informed that this brings the US company's investment "..to a total holding of 42,518,080 ordinary shares of SCi, representing 16.13% of the Company's issued share capital as at 17 October 2008."

At the same time as this occurs, Warners' man on the SCi board, Kevin Tsujihara, who was appointed in June has "resigned as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with immediate effect" - the company in question is SCi not Warners.

Tsujihara's background includes positions as Executive Vice president, New Media, with oversight of all of the company's new media operations and executive vice president, Corporate Business Development and Strategy. There is no news as to whether he will be replaced by a Warners appointment.
