We're not at all confused.

"Even the title screen of this couldn't have been done on PS2 or Wii".
But don't feel too sad, Wii people, because Juntake Uchi, (another producer on Resident Evil 5) explains to Cubed3:
"We really like the Wii. We think it's a wonderful piece of hardware. We are definitely thinking about ways we can bring the Resident Evil series to the Wii, but it could be a couple of years down the road just yet."
So, maybe some survival horror ResiEvil style next decade?

Dead Rising a bigger technical hurdle than RE5??? have you seen RE5?
The point with resident eveil was it always was one of the nicer looking games from each gen, and the port of res 4 to Wii was from previous gen tech or same gen in Wii`s case, but RE5 is 360 and PS3 it aint gonna go backwards to easy, and Dead Rising wasnt that grphically intensive it was the fact a s**t load of zombies could be on screen at once (or lawnmowed) but, i agree it would be nice to see another Res Evil on Wii, or Wiimote on 360 for this game, Still Dirt Bike Infected in Pure HD goodness i cant wait.

RE5 looks nicer, but the game would work pretty much the same with RE4-on-speed-like graphics. The game mechanics wouldn't suffer. The game basically looks just like RE4 but with better graphics. Dead Rising was something totally different. The game has mediocre graphics, but with good reason. On Wii they can only cut back on dozens of zombies, or the game would look like an N64 game. So that game will be crippled a hell of a lot more, than RE5 would be.
