EA, Harmonix and Viacom-owned MTV Games are all best mates with Microsoft and the Xbox 360 in Europe. So much so that their Rock Band 2 outing for the platform has "an exclusive launch window in Europe".

The 360 version of the game will launch in Europe on November 14th. Fortunately for those UK citizens who refuse to become part of the rather garlicy European mainland with all its euros, litres, long loaves and funny ways, the game is has a distinctly UK release date of November 21st.

Europeans will pay €69.99 (£55.55 right now) while people in the UK pay £49.99 (€62.87)for UK.

The PlayStation 3 launch date, according to EA, is 'To be Announced'.
