We reported earlier today that early figures from Enterbrain/Famitsu indicated that Grand Theft Auto IV and to a lesser extent LittleBigPlanet appeared to have given Sony's PS3 a huge boost in terms of sales in Japan.

Well, now the other Japanese stat provide, Media Create, has offered up its take on hardware sales for the week October 27th to November 2nd - and those early reports look very solid indeed. The figures are as follows (with Enterbrain's in brackets).
