Atari Confirms Dan Aykroyd's Leak
Who you gonna call? Not Sierra. Yes, Phil Harrison.

Who you gonna call? Not Sierra.
All the way back in the dim distant video game history of October, we reported that Dan Aykroyd (he used to be on Saturday Night Live) had inadvertently told the world that Sierra's Ghostbusters: The Video Game was moving house.
Well, now Atari has finally got around to confirming that it owns it. Yes, it's good news for owners of the PS2 , Wii, DS... (you get the drill, it's on all platforms) who enjoy retro-movie tie-ins.
It also gives us the chance to quote SPOnG favourite, Phil Harrison, President of Infogrames Entertainment, the parent company of Atari saying the word "fantastic" and "mayhem": "Ghostbusters: The Video Game is a fantastic addition to Atari's global line-up in 2009.
"The title has built considerable anticipation and excitement among game fans for its high quality action and all-out mayhem. There's no more thrilling Ghostbusting experience to be had, short of building your own proton pack."
Yup, we can't imagine Phil actually using the word 'all-out mayhem' either. Maybe some marketing type did?
We are also told that, "The film spawned some of the most memorable comedic catch-phrases and scenes in motion picture history".
Aside from "cross the streams" and "who-you-gonna-call" (and without consulting IMDB) we're stumped. Favourite GB moments to the Forum please.

Always the Venkman love, nothing for Spengler.
That would have worked if you hadn't stopped me.
Print is dead.
I collect spores mould and fungi.
Sorry, Venkman, I'm terrified beyond the capacity for rational thought.

I am sure I told the plebian droid who wrote that story to demand memorable and 'funny' quotes.
[sound of bolt gun in action]
Send in another droid would you, Mark.
Cheers

(If it isn't black and white, in Russian and ends in a tragic chess game by the side of frozen lake full of wan but industrial corpses, count me out.)

Surely it's a given that Dan Ackroyd leaks several times a day, even if he's got one of those sticky belly piss bags.
Why would Atari need to confirm this?

"...cats and dogs, living together"
"Where do those stairs go? Up!"
"hello Ghostbusters, waddaya want?"
"whoa, nice shootin' Tex!"
