Okay, so Need for Speeds might not have made the Xmas Number 1 spot in 2006 or in 2007, but in 2005 and before seeing the EA racer atop the UK charts was... well, traditional.

So, it's good to see that NFS: Undercover - the latest incar-nation of the venerable series has gone gold in time for its European launch on November 21st. Now all it has to do is beat: Gears of War 2, Call of Duty: World at War, FIFA 09 and possibly even Wii Fit to the number 1 spot.
