PlayStation Home Open Beta in Weeks
Open beta to be 16-rated

The document is a run through of improvements being made in 'Home Beta 1.0'. 1.0 is referred to as "the latest version that we intend to make available to everyone when the Open Beta starts in the coming weeks." That's right, "coming weeks". That update will be applied to the closed beta of Home as of tomorrow morning. While we wait for the open beta, Sony states that a "great number" of new gamers will be invited to the closed version.
This builds on information provided by Home community manager, TedTheDog.
Also of interest in there is some information about age ratings in Home. It's a rather mixed message, frankly, telling us, "Home itself is not a game and is therefore not Age Rated as such". So far, so good. But then... "However each SCE Region will have its own Age Limit applied to it in accordance with the regional management plans. SCEE's Age Limit for Home will be 16 and over from the start of the Open Beta."
Alas, the exact source of the document has not been disclosed by TAWKN, which put it up. Presumably it's a naughty beta participant, but a pinch of salt needs to be taken with the news, just in case it's a great big hoax.
You can scrutinise some images of the document below.

Damn I am getting soo confused I cannot keep up with all these Home Beta's!
Last year there was a Beta wasn't there? I was on the official PS3 forums and there was talks about people getting free Beta invites. And here we are STILL talking about a Beta!!
Well I guess this does prove in some ways that the PS3 is very capable of doing Beta's...
