It could be that MTV and EA's forthcoming Beatles-based game is the first sighting of Mop-Top music in the digitally downloadable world as an ongoing iTunes deal has apparently 'stalled'.

One of the two remaining loveable Scouse band members, Sir Paul McCartney has told the BBC that, "We'd like to do it. We are very for it, we've been pushing it. But there are a couple of sticking points, I understand."

Apparently it's the fault of the band's UK record label, says the bass-playing Frog-chorus penman, "EMI want something we're not prepared to give 'em. It's between EMI and The Beatles I think - what else is new?"

Well, at least this one isn't down to Activision's attitude problem.
