Champion Rider Injured by Wii
Mark Cavendish does himself a damage...
Posted 1 Dec 2008

Twice cycling track World Champion Mark Cavendish is a Manxman and a champion in the saddle. He won four stages at 2008's Tour de France (more than any other Englishman ever), he races for Team Colombia. He plays snowboarding games on the Wii.
He gets injured by them - so we assume that he plays Shaun White Snowboarding (reviewed here) using the balance board.
Cyclingnews reports, 'He was playing a snowboarding game on his Nintendo Wii console when he fell from the board and hurt his calf muscle. "It's a pain, but it's a minor injury in the off-season and not a huge problem"'.
That's the spirit!

You know how it works, he won 4 Tour levels (Christ, I just called Tour de France stages 'levels' brilliant!), he was born and grew up near England, he lives in Manchester (sometimes), he is therefore English.
It's the rules... anyway, he races for Colombians. Well, he did, until the Wii "Slaughtered the Chances of English Racing Ace!" Damn, I didn't use that as a headline. I am slipping.
Cheers
Tim
