Killzone 2: Euro Release Pre USA?
UK is not Europe though.
Posted 8 Jan 2009

Guerrilla Games' PS3-exclusive shooter, Killzone 2, is apparently going to hit some European markets two days before the USA's release of February 27th.
One of those, we understand, is not going to be the UK. That particular territory is due to get what nobody in their right minds would call a 'Halo 3 beater' on the same date as the States. Dang it.
SPOnG contacted Sony for confirmation of the dates this afternoon after the Internet became pregnant with "Killzone 2 dated" stories. We were met with a rather decent, "We still haven't confirmed the release date for the UK. We'll do that in a few weeks", rather than the usual "We don't comment on rumour and speculation".
However, our sources in the industry have more than hinted that the 27th for the UK and US is looking solid. With some European territories getting the 25th.

every time britain is getting a game it delayed, unreleased or later that a country just a round the corner. why? if kojema can get MGS in to all the stores in all the countries at the same time, why is it so difficult for every one else in the industry. case in point we were LAST to get little bug planet which is made in britain.

Can't say i'm happy about getting it 2 days after the rest of Europe, esp as we get games delayed for months while the rest of Europe has their versions localised. Why should it be any different now?
