Video games warehoused by failed UK video game distributor to the likes of WH Smith and - infamously, Woolworths - Entertainment UK is to sell off its gaming stock on the cheap.

Administrator, Deloitte & Touche LLP, has stated that along with 3.3 million DVDs, 2.9 million CDs and 1.8 million books, 1.1 million games are up for a fire sale.

The administrator is - according to MCV - "accepting tender offers for the outstanding stock" from a range of "retailers and overstocks specialists". The deadline for bids is expected to be tonight.

This will see a vast number of first-hand games that should have been sold pre-Xmas in outlets such as Zavi and EUK's parent company, Woolworths, hitting retail at massively reduced prices.
