Thomas Moore: prayerful, headless.

Did anybody seriously think this would stop Mr T from appealing? Well, some people were dancing on the crusader's grave that's for sure. But you can't stop Jack from fighting. He's gone to the US Supreme Court.
He's filed "a petition for a writ of certiorari", according to Gamepolitics. What his means in effect is that he is asking the Supreme Court to ask the Florida Supreme Court to send it records pertaining to his disbarment case.
The petition is - in classic JT style - long, complex, even meandering, and can be found here.
At the end of it, Jack offers up some prayers:
"Petitioner prays that this Court will grant the petition to writ of certiorari to the Florida Supreme Court. If it does not, then he prays, in another sense, for the future of this state, for the practice of law, and for the independence of the legal profession everywhere."
Mr Thompson might also like to refer to another prayer for lawyers that cites a Christian martyr, Sir Thomas Moore. This prayer asks that the lawyer, "may be trustworthy with confidences, keen in study, accurate in analysis, correct in conclusion, able in argument, loyal to clients, honest with all, courteous to adversaries, ever attentive to conscience."
We expect the Supreme Court of the USA to report back on March 25th.

Please, Mr. Thompson-- die in a fire: The eternal fire. You know the one I'm talking about; the one you're trying so hard to avoid.
