Life-to-date figures in as well.

Japanese stats collator, Media Create, has released its figures for hardware sales during the week 23rd March to 29th March, and both the PS3 and PS2 have outsold the Xbox 360. Also of interest is that the PS3 outsold the Wii.
On the handheld front, the DSi outsold PSP - with the DS Lite now booooring and old fashioned and probably being thrown into dumpsters as our Japanese pals rush off to buy the new, two-camera, DSi.
Our calculations of Media Create figures down the years inform us that life-to-date sales in Japan of the consoles are:
Wii: 7,868,716
PS3: 2,970,583
Xbox 360: 973,968
Week Figures
Console
PS3: 22,825
Wii: 17,276
PS2: 5,246
Xbox 360: 4,849
Handheld
DSi: 57,401
PSP: 54,148
DS Lite: 8,408
