UK Games Charts: Wii Fitter than Riddick
Nintendo heading for Charts record?
Posted 27 Apr 2009

Nine of those weeks have been in 2009 – no mean feat, given that the game was released almost exactly a year ago. SPOnG wouldn't call you a fool if you were to bet that the game will steadily jog past the record holder for most weeks at the top – currently Eidos' Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, which managed 18 weeks at the top in 2000/2001.
There's only one new entry this week – The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena from Atari. It's right behind Wii Fit, launching at Number 2.
That leaves two EA titles – The Godfather II (reviewed here) and FIFA 09 – to drop a place each to Numbers 3 and 4 respectively.
The rest of the Top 10 is made up of non-movers.
Next week, look out for appearances from X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Blue Dragon Plus for the DS.
