Wolfenstein 3D Confirmed for XBLA
Double-old school FPS inbound
Posted 15 May 2009

The original Wolfenstein game - the one from a time when putting '3D' after your game name made it sound like it was from the future - is coming to Xbox Live Arcade.
Its impending release has been confirmed by the innocuous appearance of a game page over on Xbox.com.
Nerve is handling the port. If you don't know the studio, it's the developer that brought Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars and Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Tides of War - two other id Software properties - to the Xbox 360 and original Xbox. Activision is publishing the game.
Beyond that, bugger all is revealed by the page save the fact that it will be single-player and will come in 1080i.
SPOnG patiently awaits the announcement of Wolfenstein 4D.
