Media Molecule's co-founder Alex Evans has been speaking about exciting, Flickr and Googlemaps-a-like add-ons for LittleBigPlanet.

He explained that along with a website (or 'web-based portal' as 1UP put it) for users to share links to levels, the company is also looking to bring in an API to enable the Flickr/GMaps style additions. Details are still sparse on these.

Also coming is the ability for users to beta test additions to the much loved game. Says Evans, ""This time it's less about testing the online and more about giving the vocal minority a chance to see what's coming and to give us their feedback."

All exciting stuff.
