How Much for a Ride With Tony Hawk?
Pricing for game and peripheral revealed

That converts to £76 (€86) at the time of press. Don't be too surprised, however, if the package costs more when it's actually released over here, given that the prices of games products tend to leap above the exchange rate for us Brits.
That price comes from US retailer GameStop and is listed against the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii versions of Ride. That means it's not the official RRP, but we do expect a retailer the size of GameStop to have some idea what it's talking about. The listing also has a release date of October 13th.
It looks like you won't have the option to play Ride without the peripheral, so don't get any ideas about using your standard controller instead.
While that sounds a bit costly, shipping games with peripherals hasn't hurt Activision's Guitar Hero franchise. Let's just hope that it actually works...
There were a few shenanigans last week around exactly which platforms Ride will actually be released on in the UK last week. More here.

in fatc is it really a good idea to reinvent tony hawk with a new control concept?, maybe if they nailed the gameplay first they focus on gimmick later, Tony Hawk been going down hill since Tony Hawk 3, down hill at skateboard speeds!
