Well, now we know what Bethesda and Splash Damage's mystery project is, and we know what the latter's trademarking of the word 'Brink' was all about. If you haven't put the two together yet - Bethesda and Splash Damage are working on a game called... Brink! SPOnG has the first teaser trailer below.

So... what else do we know? Not a right lot, frankly. It's got a sci-fi theme going on and there appears, from the official website, to have been some kind of global catastrophe. You can also hear gunfire in the background of the teaser and shooters are the kind of game Splash Damage specialises in, so expect at least a little gun play.

We also know that the game will be out, unshockingly, on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 and is scheduled for Spring next year.

We're expecting to hear more on the subject at E3.
