Japanese business bible, the Nikkei daily newspaper has reported that Nintendo will be releasing Wii Fit Plus sometime in the autumn. It does so without any actual sources being quoted, which either means that it's a total lie (unlikely) or that this is a leak, official or otherwise.

Reuters reports that "the new version will allow users to compete with friends and family over the Internet to lose weight and other activities". The new version of the popular software will be 'more accurate' at measuring how healthy you are.

Not only will we see a new Fit, there will also apparently be yet another Mario title for the second half of this year.
