There was no way Sony was going to let E3 pass without a God of War 3 trailer. Sure enough, the platform holder has released one and sure enough, SPOnG's got it.

We got some lovely screens, too. In Sony's E3 rundown in which the company pats itself on the back about how exciting it is, we're told: "Kratos, the fearsome Ghost of Sparta, is bringing his epic battle with the gods to PlayStation 3. Cursed and betrayed, Kratos has sworn to seek his ultimate revenge against the fabled beasts of Mount Olympus. Armed with the deadly Blades of Chaos, his destiny lies with the all-powerful Zeus… but wave after wave of terrifying foes must first be slain on the warpath to the Ancient Greek heavens."
