Shane Kim has a big title to live up to: 'Microsoft's Corporate Vice President, Strategy and Business Development, Interactive Entertainment Business. Currently'; he's living up to it by pointing out that the Xbox 360 is a good for games.

With a recent report that the next Xbox ('Xbox Natal') will be aimed at a mainstream audience, Kim's statement that the current system, "happens to be a great video game console", is comforting.

He goes on to say, "That's not going away. We want to make people understand that we're not leaving the gaming space."

As if anybody thought that with investment into its own gaming studios plus Xbox Live, the company was going to move away from gaming!
