You're never going to believe this... but just because 1UP decides that there is going to be a new Xbox 720 Natal next autumn, doesn't actually mean it's going to happen.

1UP stated categorically, "Yes, there will be a new Xbox console next fall."

Microsoft's Aaron Greenberg, Director of Product Management for Xbox 360 and Xbox Live has dumped all over the 'fact' of the new console that 1UP 'reported' following conclusions reached in its own podcast recently.

Greenberg biz-speaks like this^*, "I think part of the excitement about this announcement is that in many ways we are delivering a next generation experience this generation. With that said, I can confirm that Natal will run on Xbox 360 so no new console investment will be necessary."

Stunned? Shocked? We thought not.
