Unshock: Microsoft Denies 2010 Xbox 720 Natal
Does news report based on 1UP hacks talking to each other prove less than false?

1UP stated categorically, "Yes, there will be a new Xbox console next fall."
Microsoft's Aaron Greenberg, Director of Product Management for Xbox 360 and Xbox Live has dumped all over the 'fact' of the new console that 1UP 'reported' following conclusions reached in its own podcast recently.
Greenberg biz-speaks like this*, "I think part of the excitement about this announcement is that in many ways we are delivering a next generation experience this generation. With that said, I can confirm that Natal will run on Xbox 360 so no new console investment will be necessary."
Stunned? Shocked? We thought not.

what was it they said? "natal's launch will be as big as a console"? I can see where someone might make the mistake in thinking it means there will be a new console but to the more sane people of the world it just means MS will be over hyping the launch like halo

What he said was Natal won't require a new console. He didn't say they weren't releasing a new console. Guess what M$ announced today? A new new XBOX. Heh.
