Criterion has just posted the following rather upsetting news for Xbox 360 fans of multi-player, fast-driving on a mad island bonkersness:

"Big Surf Island is temporarily not available through Xbox LIVE Marketplace. It should be up again later today."

This follows news that Xbox Live Marketplace is having what we're sure are called "Challenges" or "Issues" but which we're calling "Problems".

And all of this follows news last week of the 24-hour XbL outage this week.

And this comes on the same day the Microsoft is offering £1 for one month's Xbox Live Gold membership. It never rains but it pours, eh readers.
