Obvious News: Sony Snaps Up Movie Rights to Uncharted
No Statham connection as yet.
Posted 26 Jun 2009

In a shock movie move that won't shock anybody who (a) kept up with the Ghostbusters timed-exclusive, (b) realises that Sony owns Columbia Pictures... Columbia Pictures has, according to the Hollywood Reporter, "found Uncharted: Drake's Fortune." Yes, it's going to make a Nathan Drake movie. It won't star Jason Statham as far as we are aware.
In case you've stumbled on this story while looking for something not Michael Jackson-related, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is a PlayStation 3-exclusive.
Kyle Ward (Hitman 2, and Kane & Lynch movies) is set to write the movie of the 2007 game, which has no release date.

Roy Dupuis looks, sounds and acts like Nathan. Make sure you screen Roy Dupuis for the part.

There was a sequel to the Hitman movie?
Who the flick is Roy Dupois and how long have you been his agent?
