Posted 29 Jun 2009

The Stones... still not ready for them video game things. Still a better band.
MTV Game is not stinting when it comes to making back the money it's probably had to pay the remaining Beatles and Beatles' families for the rights for The Beatles: Rock Band.
According to The Washington Post, the company has hired ex-THQ executive Veep of publishing Scott Guthrie to do the same job.
Joining Gutherie is David Cox, who was former senior director of sales and merchandising at Sony Computer Entertainment America. He comes on as VP of sales.
While concentrating on The Beatles, Guthrie also explains that Viacom, the parent company will also be looking to buy new game properties and even studios due to “fire sales going on everywhere" in the video games world.
