Action-adventure fantasy figure Lara Croft is the first choice for the boys in the Big House. Inmates throughout the British Isles are guiding the tight-shirted temptress through the PlayStation’s Tomb Raider titles (all five of them) beating gory survival horror series Resident Evil and Syphon Filters 1 and 2. Obviously, these people have a lot of time on their hands, between slopping out and trading contraband, so it makes sense to go for games with depth. The presence, however, of the likes of Grand Theft Auto and Carmageddon does make you wonder about the wisdom of letting these criminals have such entertainment benefits. Go on son, recreate the car crime that got you here in the first place!
Here is the top ten:
1. Tomb Raider (all) PlayStation
2. Resident Evil (1, 2 & 3) PlayStation
3. Syphon Filter (1 & 2) PlayStation

6. Gran Turismo (1 & 2) PlayStation
7. Colin McRae (1 & 2) PlayStation
