No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle Comp Confusion
Suda wants a new t-shirt
Posted 26 Aug 2009

The fact that No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle has a competition that ends on September 10th (PST) has apparently indicated to many sites that a release date of January is imminently to be announced for Goichi Suda's next outing with hero Travis Touchdown.
The comp is to design a t-shirt that will be used in the game.
We're a little confused though. The comp rules say:
"To enter, submit your contact information and t-shirt design on the NoMoreHeroesContest.com website as directed between 12:01 a.m. PST August 18th 2009 and 11:59 p.m. PST September 10th 2009 (the "Contest Period") and you will be automatically entered into the prize drawing."
Fine. But...
"All Contest entries meeting the requirements of these Official Rules will be entered into the prize drawing, to be held at Sponsor's Address specified in section 10 (625 3rd Street, 3rd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA), on or about September 9th 2009. Impartial persons whose decisions are final and binding will conduct the drawing."
Eh? What about those unfortunates who got their entries in on September 10th? Either way, all this apparently means that the game will definitely be out in January, for sure, no question, absolutely. Or... total guesswork based on a date in a competition.
