It appears that the level of control exerted by the remaining Beatles on The Beatles: Rock Band appeals to pomp-rock outfit, U2. Currently the band does not want to appear with a whole bunch of other musicians in a "pick a song you like and sort of play along" game like Rock Band or Guitar Hero. However, given a similar level of control as Mssrs Harrison Jr, McCartney, Starkey and Mrs Lennon...

What The Beatles have done, where the animation is much more representative of them, is what we’re interested in, rather than the one-size-fits-all animation. We didn’t want to be caricatured."

A hint? Maybe Bono should have thought about this a while ago, before his Elevation Partners investment company sold Bioware and Pandemic to EA?
