Another issue has raised its head now, and that's pricing for the 'snackable' PSP Mini games. With prices being seen as uncompetitive not only with iPhone games but also PSN downloads, murmurings of discontent are mounting to roars.
SCEA's Eric Lempel has explained to Joystiq that you can't blame Sony for this though.
"As far as pricing goes, the publisher of the title sets the pricing." He also made it clear that if a publisher wants to produce a $1.99 game, they certainly can.

I looked at some of the Minis on the Ps3 store and without decent screens and preview videos I won't be spending my money there. Most of the title's descriptions sound like they're peddling real garrbage. 59p for garbage is one thing, but when I could by a beer for the price of some Minis ... i'll take the beer thanks.

i thi they should just lower the prices all to gather. they are going to make a gold mine off it anyway. if you have to buy the games like as if it were an app store. and the price isnt even very reasonable. but i like the size and look of the psp go!!

I've bought one Mini. Pinball Fantasies. Because Pinball Fantasies is awesome. But I'm not going to really buy any more if they're all going to be priced the same as a PSOne Classic. It's a bit absurd, value-for-money tier-wise.
