BioWare has released the Dragon Age: Origins Character Creator, ahead of the game's launch to get eager role players crafting their perfect protagonist right away. The only problem is, it's so popular the studio is offering alternative download servers for the program.

Uploading your custom character to the new BioWare Social Network also awards players with a special item called The Lucky Stone, which will +1 all stats when Dragon Age: Origins hits stores in November. It seems this perk is causing BioWare to declare that the "servers are melting" on their official blog.

You can download the Character Creator in any of the myriad of languages available, and get to work on your hero using this link to the blog post. The game is due for a 3rd November release in the US, and a 6th November release in the UK.
