After your Xbox Gold account, you need to stump up £15 each month for the basic "Entertainment Pack": G.O.L.D., Sky Real Lives, Sky Arts 1, Sky News and MTV One, National Geographic, Nat Geo Wild, History and Eden, while for sports fans there's Sky Sports News, British Eurosport and ESPN Classic. Kids get Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Nickelodeon, Disney Channel and Nick Jr.
And, of course, there are add-ons for all sorts of televisual brain blancmange:
£25 - Sky Sports 1 OR Sky Sports 2 + Sky Sports Xtra
£34 - Sky Sports 1, 2, 3 + Sky Sports Xtra
£24 - Sky Movies Screen 1 OR Screen 2
£32 - Sky Movies Screen 1 + Screen 2
£33 - One movie channel + one sports channel + Sky Sports Xtra
£38 - One movie channel + all sports channels, OR vice versa, + Sky Sports Xtra
£41 - All sports and movie channels (From £9 per month extra - ESPN).
As a launch incentive (or to "celebrate the launch") there's also an introductory bundle costing £29.99: a three-month Gold subscription, a one month Sky Player subscription (Sky Sports Pack) and a Media Remote. To be honest, if you don't mind having more TV in your house than you can shake a remote at, that doesn't sound like a bad deal.

Any idea if these are just prices for non-sky subscribers, or despite paying for SkyHD do they want even more of my money now? XD

These seem to be the same as the original Sky Player prices for non-subscribers... [link] I think most are free on Sky player for existing subscribers (depending on package), so I don't see why it would be any different here - considering you're paying additionally for XBox Live...
Don't worry about the missing channels - as long as you're got a proper TV ;) Although it would be a shame if the XBox version doesn't direct you to iPlayer stuff, when the PC one does (although that's no longer really Sky Player we're talking about, we're talking about The Internet).
To be honest, though, what I really wanted was proper Sky without a dish. Which I'm sure will appear in a few years' time.

Sorry Sky, but you can go and jump. If I can't choose specific channels after all these years, what's the point? So you can sell me stuff I don't want. This is the thing that still irks me with Sky etc. Silly thing is, they'd get more customer if you could pick and choose a bit more.
I have a Sky box and account, but I'm soon cutting back on that anyway. There's just too much crap on tv these days, so I'd rather just play my games or watch some dvds.
Think I'll waitfor Last FM, as the content is more palatable.

Paying Murdoch for his dreck without those sweeteners doesn't really appeal. And the 360 won't be able to timeshift this stuff, will it?
